3 tips for
your fat loss workouts Sometimes the shear volume of information on training for fat loss can be a bit overwhelming. So I thought Id break things down a bit for you. Here are three extremely simple things you can start doing right away for rapid fat loss results... 1. Use intervals In a study done to compare the fat burning benefits of traditional cardio training and high intensity intervals, two groups were assigned different training regimens. Group A performed the regular moderate intensity cardio regime (ex. jogging or bicycling) for 20 weeks, and Group B performed a high intensity interval training routine for 15 weeks. The results of each group were recorded. Group B lost nine times more fat than Group A and in 5 weeks less! 2. Hit the whole body The more of your body you use in a given exercise, the more muscle you are going to recruit for that movement. That means you burn more calories for every minute you spend working out. But it also means you can create more intensity during your training session. And more intensity gives your metabolism a boost for hours after you finish your workout. So if you'd like to KEEP burning tons of calories even when you aren't exercising, look for movements that use as much as your body as possible with every rep. 3. Stimulate your nervous system with sophisticated movements When it comes to building a great physique, most programs only focus on working the muscles and burning fat. They use simplistic, one-dimensional exercises that make you FEEL like you're getting a great workout. But they ignore the MAIN driver of your entire body the nervous system. You need to constantly increase the sophistication of your workouts if you want to avoid getting bored and giving up, having your body start to break down from injury and overuse, or reaching an unbreakable plateau in your progress. If you hit those three things, the fat will be dripping off you like sweat on a hot summer day... |
